Ingredients
- 1 small glass of anchovy fillets
- 4 elongated rolls
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 tsp olive oil
- 6 small tomatoes
- 1 red bell pepper
- green bell peppers
- 12 black pitted olives
- black pepper

Remove anchovies from brine and soak in cold water for 15 minutes to reduce saltiness. Split the rolls lengthwise and rub with the cut side of the garlic clove.

Then drizzle olive oil over the roll halves. Slice tomatoes into rounds. Core the bell peppers and slice into thin strips. Halve the olives. Spread the pepper, tomato, and olive mixture on the lower roll halves and top with drained anchovy fillets.

Season heavily with black pepper. Cover with the other roll half and press lightly together. Let the assembled rolls sit for about 15 minutes to absorb flavors; they will become juicier.
