Avocado Smoothie with Dates

Ingredients

  • 4.3 oz dried pitted dates
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 Lime
  • 20 fl oz milk (1.5% fat) (cold)
  • 1.8 oz almond kernels
  • wooden sticks

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Peel, halve, and pit the avocados. Cut 4 wedges of the pulp and set aside; cut the rest into pieces.

    Rinse and dry the lime, cut 4 wedges and set aside, then squeeze the rest.

  3. 3.

    Puree avocados with 1.7 oz dates, milk & almonds in a blender. Add 8 fl oz water and season with lime juice.

  4. 4.

    Pour the drink into 4 glasses and garnish with avocado and lime wedges. Thread the remaining dates onto wooden sticks and serve with them.
