The avocado smoothie basic recipe from Spoonsparrow is the ideal blend of healthy fats and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 20 g basil (1 bunch)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 400 g yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • 100 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Peel, halve, pit and chop the avocado into pieces.

    Wash the basil, shake dry and pick off the leaves. Roughly chop half of the leaves.

    Blend the avocado with lemon juice, chopped basil leaves, yogurt and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Divide the smoothie into 4 glasses and garnish with the remaining basil leaves.
