Attention fry lovers! Here comes a super healthy and tasty alternative to conventional potato fries: the Avocado Fries from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 1 piece Parmesan (20 g; 32% fat in total)
  • 4 tbsp Whole wheat breadcrumbs (40 g)
  • 2 tbsp Black sesame seeds (30 g)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 egg

Instructions

    Grate the Parmesan finely and mix it with the breadcrumbs and sesame seeds, then season with salt and pepper. Beat the egg in a bowl.

    Halve the avocados, remove the pits, loosen the flesh from the skin and cut into wedges. First coat the avocado wedges in the beaten egg, then roll them in the Parmesan‑sesame mixture. Bake the avocado wedges in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan‑forced 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 20 minutes.
