Avocado Crostini
Spoonsparrow Avocado crostini with goat cheese and cherry tomatoes: avocado contains valuable fatty acids & vitamins that keep you alert. The goat cheese strengthens muscles.
Ingredients
- 200 g Ciabatta (1 loaf)
- 1 Avocado
- 0.5 lemon
- 1 Garlic clove
- 125 g young goat cheese (without rind)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 10 cherry tomatoes (e.g., colorful)
- 0.5 bunch Chives
Instructions

Slice the ciabatta bread into about 1 cm thick slices, arrange them on a baking rack, bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (fan‑forced 180 °C, gas: level 3) until golden yellow, remove and let cool slightly.

Halve the avocado and remove the pit.

Separate the flesh from the skin and place it in a bowl.

Squeeze the lemon. Peel and roughly chop the garlic. Crumble the goat cheese coarsely. Add the cheese, 2 tsp lemon juice and garlic to the avocado. Blend everything finely, season with salt, pepper and optionally more lemon juice.

Wash the tomatoes, drain them and quarter them.

Spread the avocado cream on the ciabatta slices and top with tomato pieces. Rinse the chives, shake dry, cut the stems once or twice and distribute over the crostini. Serve immediately.
