Ingredients

  • 4 artichokes
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 0.5 cup crème fraîche
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch mixed herbs
  • salt (pepper)

Instructions

    Clean the artichokes, trim the stems and remove the tough outer leaves, cutting off the tips. Slice the lemon and tie the slices around the base of each artichoke; simmer in boiling salted water for about 35 minutes until tender and the leaves loosen easily.

    Wash and finely chop the herbs. Mix yogurt with crème fraîche, salt, pepper, squeeze in the peeled garlic, then sprinkle with the chopped herbs. Arrange the cooked artichokes on plates and serve with the sauce.
