Apricot Strawberry Jam by Spoonsparrow: Fresh summer fruit turns into a fruity spread in an instant!

Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh strawberries
  • 500 g fresh apricots
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 500 g gelatin sugar 2:1

Instructions

    First boil jars with lids for about 10 minutes in a large pot of hot water. Then remove the jars from the water and turn them upside down on clean kitchen towels to cool.

    Wash strawberries, pat dry. Heat apricots briefly, then shock in cold water, peel. Halve apricots, remove pits and cut into small pieces.

    Cook fruit with gelatin sugar and lemon juice in a pot until it boils; simmer for 3–4 minutes while bubbling. Pour hot mixture into the prepared jars, seal tightly. Store jam cool, dry, and dark.
