Ingredients

  • 25 tsp walnut kernels
  • 2 Apples
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 4 tsp orange honey
  • 1 tsp pickled green peppercorns from the mill
  • 40 g Parmesan

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Toast walnut kernels in a dry pan for a short time. Transfer to a plate.

    Wash apples, quarter them, core and cut into wedges.

  3. 3.

    Boil lemon juice and honey in a pan. Briefly toss apple wedges in it. Remove with a slotted spoon. Let cool slightly.

    Add peppercorns to the liquid and simmer briefly.

  5. 5.

    Place apple wedges with the liquid and walnuts on a plate. Grate parmesan over the top.
