- 200 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt

- 750 g tart apples (e.g., Boskop)
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar

For the crust, finely crumble flour with butter, then fold in the remaining ingredients. Wrap this dough in foil and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Roll out the dough into a circle and press it into a large, lightly greased baking pan. Peel, quarter, and core the apples; cut each quarter into three slices.

Arrange the apple slices radially from the edge into the prepared crust. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 30 minutes.
