Apple Puree with Oatmeal

Apple puree with oatmeal: especially gentle and perfect for providing your baby iron and vitamin C.
Ingredients
- 100 g small apples (1 small apple)
- 20 g tender oatmeal flakes (2 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp apple juice
- 1 tsp Rapeseed oil

Wash, peel, and dry the apple. Quarter it, remove the core, and dice the flesh.

Place the apple cubes with 3 tbsp water in a small pot, cover, and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes until soft.

Meanwhile, put the oatmeal flakes in a small bowl, stir in the apple juice, and let soak briefly.

Mash the softened apples with a fork and mix into the oatmeal with the oil.

Add enough boiling water to reach a spoonable consistency, then allow to cool slightly before feeding.
