Apple Purée

A fresh fruit dessert featuring clear apples and a touch of lemon zest, now reimagined by Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 10 apples (clear apples)
  • 2 lemons (juice)
  • 1 tbsp whole cane sugar
  • edible flowers (for garnish)

Instructions

    Peel, quarter, and core the apples.

    Pour lemon juice over the apple pieces and add whole cane sugar.

  3. 3.

    Cover and simmer without adding water until soft, about 15 minutes.

  4. 4.

    Using a vigorous whisk, blend into a smooth purée.

  5. 5.

    Serve in bowls or glasses, gently tapping to level the surface.

    Garnish with edible flowers just before serving. The flavor develops best at room temperature.
