Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples (Golden Delicious)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cloves
  • 100 ml water
  • 250 ml dry white wine

Instructions

    Wash the apples, halve them, core them and cut them into thick slices without peeling. Heat water, sugar, cinnamon stick and cloves in a pot.

    Reduce the liquid to about half, then pour in the wine and add the apple pieces, bring briefly to a boil, then reduce heat and cook the apples until tender in 2 minutes.

    The apples should not fall apart. Cover and let cool, then fill glasses and serve warm.
