Ingredients

  • 100 g ground, peeled almonds
  • 700 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 150 g whole, shelled pistachios

Instructions

    Mix the almonds with the condensed milk and let sit overnight.

    On the next day strain the milk, squeeze out the almonds well and use them elsewhere.

    Warm the butter, add the honey and almond milk, stir and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 25 minutes until everything slowly caramelizes (becomes golden brown and thick). Fold in the pistachios. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (20x20 cm), smooth it out and let cool. Cut into pieces before serving.
