Ingredients

  • 300 g Emmental cheese (slices)
  • 250 g poultry sausage (slices)
  • 200 g pickled cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp chives rings
  • 5 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 150 g farmhouse bread (slices)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 head of lettuce

Instructions

    Cut the cheese into strips. Halve the sausage slices. Dice the cucumbers finely.

    Whisk together vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard and oil. Mix with the prepared ingredients and season to taste.

    Cube the bread. Brown in hot butter in a pan. Wash and pat dry the lettuce, tear into bite‑sized pieces, fold into the salad and top with bread cubes before serving.
