Whole Grain Rolls

Ingredients

  • 250 g rye whole wheat flour
  • 250 g wheat whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 packet baking soda
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 250 g quark

Instructions

    Sift both flours into a mixing bowl. Add the baking soda, butter, egg yolks and quark and knead everything well.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape them into rolls. Place these on the tray, cut crosswise about 5 mm deep, and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
