Ingredients
- 300 g dried white beans
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 piece lemon zest (unprocessed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin (ground)
- Salt
- chili flakes
Instructions

Soak the beans overnight.

Drain them and cover with water again, bring to a boil. Add the bay leaf, turmeric and lemon zest, then simmer covered for about 45 minutes. Drain and drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.

Sprinkle with cumin, salt and chili flakes before serving.
