Ingredients
- 250 g wheat
- 2 red bell pepper caps
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 bratwursts (about 250 g each)
- oil for frying
- Salt
- ground black pepper
- 1 small rocket salad

Soak the wheat overnight in cold water, then drain and cook covered with water until tender, about 1 hour (season well with salt 15 minutes before draining). Clean, seed, wash the bell peppers and dice them. Sauté the diced peppers in 2 tbsp olive oil with fennel seeds, then mix with the cooked wheat and season with salt and pepper.

Pan-fry the bratwursts on all sides in a little oil, slice into thick rounds, and combine with roughly chopped rocket salad in the wheat mixture. Plate and serve immediately.
