Ingredients

  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp grenadine
  • 500 g watermelon
  • 100 g raspberries
  • 1 lemon (juice)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Boil the sugar with the grenadine and 100 ml water, let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool.

  2. 2.

Blend the watermelon flesh with the strained raspberries until smooth, strain through a sieve. Mix in the lemon juice and grenadine. Divide into four small ice molds and freeze for at least 4 hours. Just before the ice sets, insert one wooden stick into each mold.

  3. 3.

Serve by inserting the finished ice into a hollowed-out watermelon half as desired.
