Ingredients

  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • 4 slices old‑baked white bread
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

    Wash the salad, shake dry and let drain. Cut the bread into cubes and toast in a pan with a little oil over medium heat until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and cool.

    Add vinegar, salt, pepper and oil to a sealable jar with lid and shake vigorously until the vinaigrette emulsifies.

    Just before serving toss the vegan Caesar salad with the vinaigrette and sprinkle with croutons.
