Ingredients

  • 75 g melon flesh (honeydew)
  • 1 firm banana
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 250 g plain yogurt
  • 100 ml heavy cream (min 30%)
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (to taste)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 vanilla beans (for garnish)

Instructions

    Coarsely dice the melon flesh. Peel the banana and cut into chunks. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Combine melon, banana, yogurt, and vanilla seeds in a blender and blend finely.

    Add ice cubes and cream while continuing to blend until the smoothie is very creamy. Taste with lime juice.

    Pour the smoothie into two glasses and sprinkle brown sugar on top. Caramelize the surface with a blowtorch or lighter. Serve garnished with vanilla beans.
