Turkey Pepper Steak – smarter
Lean bistro cuisine: The turkey pepper steak with fine cream sauce from Spoonsparrow is a real meal boost!
Ingredients
- 3 tsp pickled green pepper
- 3 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch chives
- 600 g thin turkey cutlets (4 thin turkey cutlets)
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt
- 4 tbsp cranberry juice
- 300 ml soy cream
Instructions

Drain the green pepper in a sieve, reserving the brine. Crush the peppercorns with a large knife.

Peel and finely chop the shallots and garlic.

Wash the chives, shake them dry, and cut them into fine rolls.

Wash the turkey cutlets, pat them dry, season with pepper, and fry them in hot oil from both sides over high heat.

Remove from the pan, salt, and let rest wrapped in aluminum foil.

Sauté the shallots and garlic in the pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until they are colorless. Add the peppercorns and 2 tbsp of brine, and deglaze with cranberry juice.

Add the soy cream and simmer until creamy.

Add the cutlets to the pan with the pan juices and bring to a boil once.

Add the chives to the pan, season everything with salt and pepper. Serve with salt potatoes.
