Ingredients

  • 1 can sauerkraut (drained weight about 520 g)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • 150 ml broth
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • caraway seeds
  • 400 g meat loaf
  • 8 tortilla sheets
  • fat for greasing the dish
  • 100 g shredded gouda
  • 2 tbsp chives rings

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat.

    Drain the sauerkraut. Peel and finely dice the onion. Wash, trim and cut the spring onions into thin rings.

    Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onion and spring onions. Add the sauerkraut and pour in the broth. Stir in the cream cheese. Simmer for about 3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds. Dice the meat loaf and fold it in.

    Spread the sauerkraut mixture over the tortilla sheets, roll them up and place in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with Gouda and bake for about 15 minutes until golden. Garnish with chives rings before serving.
