Tortellini Casserole with Ham and Spring Onions

Ingredients

  • 150 g Mushrooms
  • 100 g Ham
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 400 g Tortellini (refrigerated)
  • Salt
  • 60 g Parmesan Cheese (1 piece)
  • 100 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 1 tbsp Crème fraîche
  • 1 egg
  • Pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Whole Grain Breadcrumbs

Instructions

    Clean the mushrooms and slice them. Dice the ham. Wash, clean, and slice the spring onions into fine rings. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the mushrooms, ham, and spring onions over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Then drain and let it drip off.

    Grate the Parmesan cheese. Mix the milk with the crème fraîche, half of the Parmesan, and the eggs, season with salt, pepper, and freshly grated nutmeg, and pour over the noodles. Mix the remaining Parmesan with the breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (fan: 180 °C; Gas: Mark 3) for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
