Teltower Turnips

Ingredients
- 1 kg Teltower turnips
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 400 ml meat broth (or vegetable broth)
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 4 tbsp parsley
- 100 ml whipping cream (at least 30% fat)
Instructions

Wash, peel and halve the large turnips. Melt the butter with the sugar in a pot, briefly caramelize, then toss the turnips in it. Dust with flour and pour over the cold broth. Season with salt and pepper and cook covered for 25-35 minutes.

Wash and chop the parsley. After cooking, stir in the cream, do not boil again, and adjust seasoning.

Serve the turnips sprinkled with parsley.
