Ingredients

  • 1 old-fashioned roll
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 2 red onions
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 300 g Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 12 ready-made taco shells

Instructions

    Soak the bread in water. Halve, pit, peel and dice the avocados. Wash and dice the tomatoes. Peel and slice the onions into rings. Mix avocado, tomato and onion and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

    Squeeze out excess liquid from the bread and knead it with the ground meat, 1 tsp salt, chili powder and egg yolk. Heat oil in a pan, add the meat mixture and cook while stirring for about 10 minutes until crumbly. Fill taco shells with the meat and avocado mixture.
