Ingredients

  • 2 T-Bone steaks (each 500 g preordered from the butcher)
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 150 ml tomato juice
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 400 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 4 corn cobs (pre-cooked)
  • 2 tbsp herb butter
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 100 g ketchup
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 kg small oven potatoes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Rinse the meat cold, pat dry.

  2. 2.

Blend the garlic with oil, add remaining ingredients, mix well and marinate the meat in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

  3. 3.

Remove from the marinade, drain and grill on a hot charcoal grill, turning occasionally until crisp, about 10-15 minutes.

  4. 4.

Grill the corn cobs and tomatoes as side dishes; grill tomatoes at a slightly lower heat. Turn the corn occasionally and finish by spreading herb butter over them.

  5. 5.

Season ketchup with Tabasco and serve in small bowls.

  6. 6.

Arrange steaks on plates or platters with corn and tomatoes, add potatoes, and serve with ketchup.
