Ingredients

  • 120 g long‑grain white rice
  • Salt
  • 1 Swiss chard
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g natural tofu
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp fish sauce
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cook the rice according to package instructions in salted water. Clean and rinse the Swiss chard, cut into strips, blanch in salted water for 1–2 minutes, then drain, shock with cold water, and let dry.

  2. 2.

Peel and dice the onions. Heat oil in a large non‑stick skillet. Sauté the onions until golden yellow. Dice the tofu. Add the tofu and chard to the skillet and steam for about 5 minutes. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into wedges. Mix rice and tomatoes with the chard, season with fish sauce, soy sauce, and cayenne pepper, and cook over low heat for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning with a pinch of salt if needed.
