Ingredients

  • 1.5 sheets of nori
  • 250 g prepared sushi rice (see recipe text No. 852946)
  • Keta caviar (6 tsp)
  • Trout caviar (each 6 tsp)
  • Sea urchin roe (each 6 tsp)

Instructions

    Cut the whole nori sheet into 8 equal-width strips; cut the half nori sheet into 4 strips.

    Using dampened hands with vinegar water, shape 12 equally sized elongated rice balls from the prepared sushi rice, rewetting your fingers as needed.

    Wrap each rice ball in a nori strip so that the strip extends over one side of the rice. Secure the nori ends with a crushed grain of rice each. Fill the Gunkan nigiri uniformly with sea urchin roe, keta caviar, and trout caviar.
