Superfood Bread

The healthy superfood bread from Spoonsparrow tastes great for low‑carb fans!

Ingredients

  • 80 g hazelnuts
  • 35 g walnuts
  • 70 g almond flour (or walnut flour)
  • 70 g ground flaxseeds
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g hemp seeds
  • 30 g psyllium husk (4 tbsp)
  • 15 g chia seeds (2 tbsp)
  • 1.5 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

    Coarsely chop hazelnuts and walnuts, then mix with the other dry ingredients in a bowl. Whisk oil and maple syrup with 300 ml warm water and add to the bowl. Mix well and let the mixture sit for 2–3 hours to absorb liquid.

    Afterward, press the dough into a small baking tin lined with parchment paper (20‑22 cm) or shape it into a loaf and place on a baking sheet.

    Brush with a little water and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (convection: 180 °C; gas: level 3) for 30 minutes.

    Carefully remove from the tin and finish baking on a baking sheet for another 20 minutes at 180 °C (convection: 160 °C; gas: levels 2–3).
