Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 200 g butter
- 1 egg
- 100 g sugar
- a pinch of salt
- butter (for greasing the pan)
- 2 tart apples
- 2 plums
- 1 handful seedless green grapes
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs (to dust)
Instructions
-
1.
Knead flour, butter, egg, sugar and a pinch of salt quickly into dough, shape into a ball, wrap in foil and chill for 30 minutes.
-
2.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
-
3.
Grease the pie tin thoroughly. Roll out two-thirds of the dough to be 6-8 cm larger than the tin, place it in the tin and let it overhang at the edges. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on the bottom and roll out the remaining dough to fit the size of the tin.
-
4.
Wash, peel, quarter, core and slice the apples thinly. Wash, halve, seed and cut the plums into wedges. Wash, pat dry and halve the grapes.
-
5.
Layer the fruit in the tin, sprinkling with sugar and cinnamon between layers.
-
6.
Place the rolled-out dough loosely over the fruit. Press the top edge of the dough to the bottom edge firmly, imprinting a pattern with your fingers. Trim any excess dough. Shape ornaments from leftover dough and place them on top. Cut holes in the dough surface so hot air can escape and prevent bursting. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, serving warm or cold as desired.
