Stuffed Pita Bread with Ground Beef and Feta

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 250 g ground beef
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tsp herbs de Provence
- 150 g cherry tomatoes
- 150 g iceberg lettuce
- 2 stems basil
- 100 g Yogurt (3.5% fat)
- 80 g feta
- 4 whole‑grain pitas
Instructions

Peel and finely dice onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and ground beef, sauté for 7–8 minutes over high heat. Add garlic and cook another 1–2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence.

Wash cherry tomatoes and quarter them. Wash iceberg lettuce, dry by spinning, and cut into strips. Rinse basil, shake dry, and finely chop the leaves.

Mix basil with yogurt, season with salt and pepper. Crumble feta.

Preheat oven to 180 °C (fan‑forced 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) and warm pitas for about 5 minutes.

Remove pitas from oven, carefully slit one side with a knife, spread the yogurt mixture on the inner sides of the pockets. Fill with beef, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and feta, then serve.
