Ingredients
- 3 spring onions
- 600 g salmon fillet (ready to cook, skin removed)
- 500 g Potatoes
- 200 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat)
- 2 Eggs
- Salt
- ground pepper
- nutmeg
- butter (for greasing the dish)
- 75 g freshly grated cheese (e.g., Emmental)

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) with upper and lower heat. Wash, trim, and slice the spring onions into strips. Rinse the salmon, pat dry, and cut into bite-sized cubes. Peel, wash, and grate the potatoes roughly. Whisk the cream with the eggs and season with salt and pepper.

Combine the salmon cubes with the egg‑cream mixture, grated potatoes, and sliced spring onions, then pour into a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
