Ingredients

  • 400 g paneer
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1 kg spinach
  • 2 onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger (fresh grated)
  • 0.5 tsp coriander (ground)
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric (ground)
  • 0.5 tsp cumin (ground)
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • Salt
  • 150 ml Heavy Cream

Instructions

    Wash, trim and roughly chop the spinach.

    Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic cloves.

  3. 3.

    Cube the paneer and fry in half the ghee in a pan until golden brown.

  4. 4.

    Sauté onion, garlic and ginger in the remaining oil until golden brown. Add spices, then add the spinach and cover for about 10 minutes.

    Add heavy cream (leave 4 tbsp) and paneer and simmer another ~5 minutes. Season with salt and serve drizzled with the remaining cream.
