Ingredients

  • 400 g flour
  • Salt
  • 4 eggs
  • nutmeg
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Bring plenty of salted water to a boil in a large pot.

    Quickly mix flour, eggs, nutmeg, milk, and a pinch of salt in a bowl into a firm dough, let it rest for about 10 minutes. Press the dough through a spätzle press into the boiling salted water and cook for a few minutes until they rise to the surface.

    Remove the spätzle with a slotted spoon, drain, and toss them in melted butter.
