Spare Ribs with Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 kg pork ribs
- 2 onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp plant oil
- 100 ml meat broth
- 0.5 orange (juice)
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp spicy mustard
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped ginger
- Salt
- Tabasco
- black pepper (ground)

Wash the spare ribs, pat dry and place in a pot, cover with boiling water. Peel and halve one onion and one garlic clove, add to the water. Simmer for about 30 minutes.

Add oil to a pan. Peel and finely dice the second onion, sauté in hot oil. Add the pressed garlic. Pour in broth and orange juice, reduce slightly. Transfer to a bowl and mix with ketchup, mustard, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Add paprika powder, lemon juice, and ginger. Season with salt, Tabasco, and pepper.

Remove spare ribs from the liquid and place on the grill. Brush with barbecue sauce and grill for 15-20 minutes, basting frequently and turning as needed. Serve plated.
