- 1 kg Venus mussels
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 red pepper
- 1 bunch flat‑leaf parsley
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g Spaghettini
- Salt
- ground pepper

Wash the mussels thoroughly under running cold water and discard any that remain closed. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Slice the pepper, remove seeds, rinse, and finely dice it. Rinse the parsley, pluck leaves from stems, and roughly chop.

Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Briefly sauté the garlic, pepper, and parsley until fragrant. Add the mussels, cover, and cook on medium heat for about 8 minutes until they open.
