Ingredients

  • 500 g spaghetti
  • Salt
  • 2 onions
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 40 g Butter
  • 80 g bacon (sliced)
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 50 g Parmesan (freshly grated)

Instructions

    Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the onions; wash, stem, and chop the tomatoes.

    Wash, deseed, and chop the bell pepper. Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

    Melt the butter in a pan, add the bacon pieces and lightly brown them. Add the garlic, onions, and bell pepper and sauté until fragrant.

    Add the tomatoes, deglaze with white wine, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the cooked noodles directly from the pot into the pan, toss briefly, and serve sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan.
