Spaghetti with Garlic Tomatoes and Chicken
The spaghetti with garlic tomatoes and chicken from Spoonsparrow tastes wonderfully aromatic. A perfect after-work recipe!
Ingredients
- 400 g Whole Wheat Spaghetti
- Salt
- 500 g chicken breast fillet (4 chicken breast fillets)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g cherry tomatoes
- 3 fresh garlic cloves
- 20 g basil (1 bunch)
- Pepper
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.

Meanwhile rinse the chicken fillets and pat dry. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; brown the chicken fillets for 3–4 minutes on each side.

Wash the tomatoes. Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Rinse basil, shake off excess water, and cut leaves into fine strips.

Add tomatoes and garlic to the skillet and simmer for another 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.

Remove chicken from the pan, slice it, then add pasta back to the skillet. Warm together for 1 minute, then serve on plates topped with basil.
