Snowman

Ingredients
- 80 g soft butter
- 80 g sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp grated lemon zest
- 80 g ground almonds
- 80 g flour
- 80 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- powdered sugar
- 500 g powdered sugar
- 8 tbsp lemon juice
- marzipan dough
- food coloring (red and orange)
- chocolate pearls
- sugar pearls
Instructions

Whisk butter with sugar, eggs, and lemon zest until fluffy. Fold in almonds, then briefly stir in flour, cornstarch, and baking powder. Pour the batter into greased snowman molds and bake at 180°C (lower rack) for about 25‑30 minutes. Remove the snowmen, let them cool in the mold for 5 minutes, then release and allow to cool completely.

Sift powdered sugar until fine. Mix with enough lemon juice to create a thick, spreadable glaze. Place the cooled snowmen on small plates using a little glaze to hold them (let dry slightly) and brush with remaining glaze.

Shape small scarves and noses from marzipan dough. Color scarves red and noses orange. Dress the snowmen accordingly. Use chocolate pearls for eyes and sugar pearls for buttons.
