Ingredients

  • 6 Bismarck herring (from the jar)
  • 3 slices dark whole‑grain bread
  • 60 g Butter
  • 1 bundle dill
  • 1 vegetable onion
  • 4 radishes

    Drain the herrings well and split the fillets lengthwise. Cut the bread slices into 12 equal squares. Finely chop half a bundle of dill and mix with the butter. Spread the butter mixture on the bread cubes. Place a few dill sprigs across each half herring fillet and roll up.

    Peel the onion and cut it into thin rings. Wash the radishes and slice them thinly. Distribute the onion rings and radish slices over the bread, secure the fish rolls with a wooden skewer, and serve.
