Simple blackberry liqueur by Spoonsparrow is ideal for gifting.

Ingredients

  • 500 g blackberries
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 l Korn (or other clear spirit)

Instructions

    Clean, wash, and drain the berries, then combine them with sugar and alcohol in a large, belly-shaped vessel.

    Cover, keep cool and dark for 8 weeks, gently shaking occasionally.

  3. 3.

    Strain the juice through a muslin cloth and puree the blackberries.

  4. 4.

    Pass the puree through a fine hair sieve, add it to the liqueur and stir in.

  5. 5.

    Pour into clean, sterilized bottles, seal tightly and let stand for another 3 weeks.

    After that, the liqueur can be enjoyed.
