Ingredients
- 500 ml coconut milk
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp red curry paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 lime leaves
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 cm ginger
- 4 giant shrimp (prepped)
- 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter

Peel the ginger, wash the lime leaves, peel and finely chop the onion; sauté everything in oil, add half the chili powder and curry paste, then pour in coconut milk and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Remove the lime leaves and ginger, puree the soup finely, and season with fish sauce.

Dust the shrimp with paprika powder and slowly fry them in clarified butter. Fill four glasses with the soup, sprinkle with chili strands and the remaining chili powder, and serve each glass topped with a skewer of shrimp.
