Shrimps in Brazilian Style

Ingredients
- 20 g fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 red chili pepper
- 2 limes
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
- 400 g shrimp
- 200 g red bell peppers
- 400 g Tomatoes
- 150 g onions
- 50 g roasted peanuts (with salt)
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp fish sauce

Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Wash the chili pepper, halve it lengthwise, remove the seeds and finely chop it as well. Squeeze the limes and mix with cayenne pepper, ginger, chili, and garlic. Remove the head and gut from the shrimp, leaving the tail intact. Toss the shrimp with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least half an hour.

Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into strips. Score the tomatoes crosswise, blanch them in boiling water, then peel. Halve the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and dice the flesh. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Finely chop the peanuts.

Remove the shrimp from the marinade and drain. Heat sesame oil in a large pan and sear the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until crisp. Remove and set aside. Sauté the onions in the remaining oil. Deglaze with the leftover marinade, add tomatoes and bell peppers, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Finally re-add the shrimp, stir in the peanuts, and season with fish sauce.
