Ingredients

  • 150 g soft butter
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 untreated orange (zest)
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g semolina (soft wheat)
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g chopped almonds
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Cream the butter with the sugar and orange zest. Add the egg and mix in. Quickly fold in the semolina with the flour, baking powder, and almonds.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.

    Using a spoon, drop small dough portions onto a parchment-lined tray, spacing them well; bake for about 10 minutes until light yellow.

    Carefully remove from the tray and let cool. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
