Sausages Wrapped in Puff Pastry

Ingredients
- 350 g puff pastry (frozen)
- 12 Nürnberger Rostbratwürstchen sausages
- 1 tbsp creamy horseradish (jar)
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 Tbsp whipping cream
- 2 tbsp caraway seeds

Let the puff pastry thaw. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) with upper and lower heat.

Brown the sausages on a hot grill or in a hot pan with oil all around, then remove and let them cool.

Roll out the puff pastry thinly and cut into 12 triangles (about 10 cm sides). Mix the horseradish with the mustard, brush the pastry triangles with this mixture, place a sausage on each, fold the pastry over, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Whisk the egg yolk with the cream, brush the pastry pieces with it, and sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden yellow. Remove and serve immediately.
