Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 3 Carrots
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g black olives
  • 300 g cooked beef (soup meat)
  • 2 chorizo sausages
  • 1 can tuna (natural)
  • 150 g long-grain rice
  • 200 ml beef broth
  • 1 sachet saffron
  • pepper (ground)
  • fresh rosemary sprig
  • fresh thyme sprig
  • 2 untreated lemons
  • Salt

Instructions

    Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Wash bell peppers, halve, deseed, and dice. Peel carrots, quarter lengthwise, and cut into pieces. Dice salami and beef. Cook rice according to package instructions and drain. Heat oil in a large pan. Sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and bell pepper for 5 minutes. Add meat and salami and cook for 2 minutes.

    Deglaze with beef broth. Add rice, saffron, and pepper; simmer while stirring for another 8 minutes. Set aside. Wash fresh herbs and finely tear them. Add herbs, olives, and torn tuna to the rice and stir. Season with salt if needed. Serve the rice pan with lemon slices.
