Ingredients
- 600 g Beef Goulash
- 200 g potatoes (starchy, boiling type)
- 1 large carrot
- 1 vegetable onion
- 2 butter
- 0.75 l meat broth
- 200 ml vodka
- 2 meat tomatoes
- 4 sour pickles
- 60 g black olives (pitted, sliced)
- 1 small glass capers
- Salt
- Pepper

Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes; peel the onion, halve it and dice finely. Peel the carrot and grate roughly. Heat the butter in a large pot and sear the beef until browned. Add potatoes, carrots, and onions, sauté briefly, deglaze with vodka, then pour in broth.

Cook everything covered for about 1 hour until the vegetables break down and the meat is tender. Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes and slice them. Drain the capers and dice the pickles. Add the remaining ingredients to the stew, warm through, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and serve with fresh pierogies.
