Ingredients
- 1 chicken (ca. 1.2 kg)
- 1 kg potatoes (firm boiling)
- 2 young garlic cloves
- 1 bundle rosemary
- 250 ml poultry broth
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions

Wash the chicken and pat dry.

Remove half of the rosemary needles and roughly chop them.

Peel and halve the potatoes.

Cut the garlic cloves in half crosswise. Add to the potatoes in a roasting pan. Salt and pepper.

Season the inside and outside of the chicken with salt and pepper, fill it with rosemary sprigs. Place on top of the vegetables and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with chopped rosemary. Pour in the broth and roast in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 50-60 minutes. Taste with salt and pepper before serving.
