Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 sprigs sage
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small can of white beans (400 g)
  • 50 g green pumpkin seeds
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • roasted white bread slice

Instructions

    Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Wash the sage, finely chop the leaves. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onions with the garlic. Briefly steam the sage with them. Drain the beans, reserving the liquid.

    Coarsely chop the pumpkin seeds. Blend the beans with the pan contents, half of the pine nuts, and some bean liquid until smooth; season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Garnish with remaining pine nuts and optional sage. Spread on roasted bread and serve.
