  • 8 smaller beetroot bulbs
  • 150 g Herb Cream Cheese
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 350 g crème fraîche
  • pepper (ground)
  • Salt

    Wash beetroot bulbs and wrap them unpeeled in aluminum foil. Ensure the packages are tightly sealed. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C on the middle rack for about 2 hours until tender.

    Meanwhile, mix the cream cheese with the crème fraîche. Peel the garlic cloves and grate them with a little salt. Stir into the cheese mixture and season with pepper. Remove the finished beetroot from the oven. Open the foil, slit the beetroot slightly, spoon the garlic‑cheese sauce over it, and serve immediately.
